With the initiative "Arbeitsplätze durch Innovation" (Employment by Innovation), the Chamber of Labour and the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) honour companies that significantly contribute to providing and safeguarding employment through their research and development endeavours. This award has been granted for the fourth time.
On February 9, the management of Sprecher Automation was awarded by the President of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Labour, Dr Johann Kalliauer, together with the GM of the FFG, Dr Henrietta Egerth.
“By our initiative ‚Employment by Innovation’ we want to make lucid the correlation between effective research and employment. Besides, it shows us the efficiency of public funds on the basis of specific examples", says Henrietta Egerth, general manager of the FFG.
“Without the support of the FFG, Sprecher Automation may have faced some difficulties during the start-up. With the funds, we were able to get our ambitious developments ready for the market and therefore gain the necessary financial means for further developments which is essential for the enterprise. Today, the FFG funds act as a significant contribution for sustaining an innovative orientation and therefore maintain successful product developments as well as providing and safeguarding employment”, CEO Ing. Erwin Raffeiner and CEO Mag. Helmut Schabetsberger of Sprecher Automation explain.
