Pegasus in Bronze for Sprecher Automation
This year's Pegasus Awards were presented at the Brucknerhaus in Linz on 3 June 2024. The Pegasus is Upper Austria's most important business prize and has been awarded for 31 years now. Around 200 companies from all over Upper Austria applied in 2024.
Sprecher Automation achieved a fantastic third place in the "Success Stories" category and we are delighted to receive the Pegasus in bronze. CEO Erwin Raffeiner accepted the trophy from Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce President Doris Hummer on behalf of all employees at Sprecher Automation.
Raffeiner: "Without the commitment and motivation of our employees and their loyalty to Sprecher Automation, a success story like ours - from a branch of the company that had already been abandoned by the previous owner to an internationally active, highly sought-after group - would not be possible. What began with 160 employees and one location has developed over the last 22 years into a group of companies with over 720 employees at 14 locations in seven countries. This award is a great motivation to continue on our successful path together and I would like to thank our employees on behalf of my shareholder colleagues."
