IT security within the company
IT security is an important pillar for the company and is part of Sprecher Automation's corporate culture. Thanks to its Information Security Management System (ISMS), the company is certified to ISO 27001 and also advises its customers during their own ISMS implementation. The certification encompasses every part of the company, from production and system development to project management and support – and thus all areas most relevant to customers.
In addition to various services, developing products and systems securely is of particular importance to our customers. Software and hardware development processes are designed in accordance with international standards.
This not only includes security guidelines and coding rules for process and system design, but also detailed acceptance procedures for all developments through the use of analytical tools and penetration tests. The complete source code for our products is retained by Sprecher Automation, and all other important data will be kept secure only at Sprecher Automation.
In order to roll out security-related updates, Sprecher Automation has set up patch management processes. Security-related information is communicated to customers via newsletters, and also by using release notes.
