The protection of personal data is important for Sprecher Automation GmbH and its affiliated companies (hereafter collectively referred to as "Sprecher Automation"). Sprecher Automation processes personal data solely in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the applicable national provisions regarding the protection of personal data and data security.

No personal data will be processed when visiting our website unless stated otherwise in the information on data protection stated above.
Following data (protocol data) is transmitted in IP-anonymised format when visiting the website:
- IP address
- Browser type / version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Time of the visit
This data cannot be attributed to any natural person.
Sprecher Automation uses the services of the open source software tool Matomo (formerly "PIWIK"), inter alia to obtain information which areas of the website are clicked on, in order to improve the design and functionality of the website.
Matomo uses cookies, i.e. text files that are saved in the web cache of the user's browser and which enable analysis of the usage of the website.
The legal basis for data processing is Article 6 (1) lit (a) GDPR. You give your consent to web analytics by Matomo by clicking on "OK, ACCEPT ALL" in our cookie banner on our website. Without this consent, no web analysis cookies will be set by Matomo.
The information produced through the cookie on the usage of the website (including your IP address) is transmitted to and stored on the server of our website (eww AG, Stelzhamerstraße 27, 4600 Wels, Österreich). Due to the anonymisation, the IP address is shortened by Matomo before transmission (IP anonymisation to "2 bytes", half of the IP address is anonymised, e.g. 123.456.xxx.xxx). On behalf of the website operator Matomo will use this information for the purposes of evaluating the usage of the website in order to collate reports on web activities for the website operators, and to provide additional services towards the website operator in connection with the usage of the website and the Internet. By anonymising the IP address, the interest of users in the protection of their personal data is sufficiently taken into account.
The protocol data is deleted 14 months after the last visit of the website.
We also embed videos on our website that are not stored on our server. Calling up our pages with embedded videos leads to the content of the third-party provider YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Google LLC), which provides the videos, being reloaded. This allows the third-party provider to obtain the information that you have accessed our site as well as the usage data that is technically required in this context. The embedding is done in the interest of making our site as appealing and informative as possible. We have no influence on the further data processing by the third-party provider.
Data subjects have the right of access, to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability, to object, to automated individual decision-making, including profiling and a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, if any.
