What you will learn as an office administrator:

  • Getting to know the organisation, communication, tasks and range of services offered by Sprecher Automation
  • Functional use of the company's equipment and technical resources and aids
  • Evaluation of company-specific statistics and reports and decision-oriented assessment of the results
  • Participation in the handling of complaints or grievances
  • Organising appointments and/or business trips as well as preparing for and following up on negotiations and meetings
  • Confident and professional appearance towards clients, contractors, customers or suppliers
  • Written correspondence, working with incoming and outgoing mail
  • Basic knowledge of the means and possibilities of marketing, advertising and public relations customary in the sector and in the enterprise
  • Working with IT applications such as word processing, costing, internet, e-mail, accounting and order processing
  • Preparing and assisting with orders
  • Obtaining, processing and checking quotations, checking order confirmations
  • Basic knowledge of cost accounting, calculation and participation in payment transactions
  • Operational accounting work and preparation of evaluations and statistics

The apprenticeship period is 3 years and the subsequent compulsory period of further employment is 6 months.

Attendance at the Linz 6 vocational school​​​​​​​ takes place one day per week (Mon-Thu) and additionally on a Friday for 10 weeks.
