PC-based close control stations are not always necessary for operational management. However, they offer numerous advantages in terms of convenience and safety for employees on site, and there are often risks involved in doing without them. For these cases, Sprecher Automation has developed a cost-optimised, userfriendly solution: With the well arranged SPRECON-E CP-2500 control panel, the operation of an entire station is possible - and without any PC system at all!
With the 17-inch, fully graphic colour display, the staff on site have everything in view at all times. This reduces the risk of switching errors and enables convenient operation of the system. At the same time, there is no need for the extensive and often costly requirements imposed by industry-standard regulations in terms of IT security, because the SPRECON-E CP-2500 works reliably without a connected PC system.

certified according to ISO 27001
As with all Sprecher Automation products, the topic of "IT security" has been thought through and integrated into the SPRECON-E CP-2500 from the very beginning. The panel has no data storage or intelligence of its own, but obtains its information directly from the connected control unit.
The implemented RBAC concept (Role-Based Access Control) enables the authentication of the operating personnel directly at the unit and thus the so-called fine-grained assignment of rights. This ensures that individual users only have access to the parts of the system for which they have been authorised.
All security requirements associated with the use of a PC system, such as interface monitoring, system hardening, patch management, protection against malware, etc., as well as the associated running costs, are eliminated with this screen control.
